This week Applewood have released their "vegan minis" which are the latest in their vegan cheese range, alongside the Applewood vegan cheese block and Applewood vegan slices.
These small round wheels include the same flavour, texture and are also fortified with B12 and calcium. This means another smoky and creamy vegan cheese for you to try and even take with you when you're looking for a snack size vegan cheese.
If their original vegan cheese block was anything to go by, this snack version of the cheese is set to be quite popular as a means of an easy lunch box addition or on the go snack.
In the 2022 Vegan Cheese Awards, 'Snack Vegan Cheese' was added as a new category, due to it's increased demand and production with the likes of the Baby Bel Wheels and Good PLANet Foods cheese wedges.
Ffion Davies, brand manager for Applewood Vegan had this to say: “Minis were the only format left for us to launch in and we can’t wait to see what customers think.
“Just in time for spring, the minis will be perfect for lunchboxes and picnics, and they are also the perfect healthy snack.”
We wouldn't exactly call them a "healthy snack" as they are promoting them, as they don't use wholefoods ingredients and they are a processed food item.
But we're sure they'll be a big hit and we're looking forward to taking them out on our next picnic and hike.
