How many vegan cheeses can you find in Waitrose supermarket?

Waitrose range of vegan cheeses extends to 20.

This makes them the UK physical supermarket which stocks the most amount of vegan cheese options. They also stock a number of artisanal cheeses which you may not have heard of or tried before.

What Options Available in Tesco

One of the UKs biggest supermarkets, Tesco has a decent amount of vegan cheese offerings.

You will find that Tesco sells 17 different vegan cheeses in the chilled section, which is a decent amount if you want to head in to get your vegan cheese fix.

Ocado Sells Vegan Cheese

Ocado are an online based supermarket and have the biggest range of vegan cheese, with 25 options for your to order today.

You need to register to their site and have a physical address that they can deliver to, so check that out first before you try and make an order.

If you are within their delivery zones then you have some amazing mass produced and artisanal vegan cheese offerings available.

Morrisons Vegan Cheese Options

Morrisons have the smallest choice from the big supermarkets, with 14 different vegan cheeses.

They are a little underwhelming compared to others which have 20 and more different vegan cheeses, like Waitrose and Ocado.

If you are in a pinch or they are your closest supermarket, you can still find some good vegan cheeses, but you won't have as many options or any artisanal choices like you do in the others.

Sainsburys Vegan Cheese Options

Sainsburys has 18 different options and they often do new vegan cheese launches. Last year they were the first to launch the new plant based Babybel and this year they are launching the Laughing Cow vegan cheeses.

Vegan Cheese in Lidl and Aldi

Lidl and Aldi sell only two to three different vegan cheeses throughout the year, this does extend to a handful more at Christmas time when they sell select boxes but this puts them at the bottom of the list of supermarkets who sell vegan cheese.

They sell only their own Vemondo and Plant Menu vegan cheeses, so if you are after a vegan cheese in Lidl, you are quite limited to what you can get.

Still, if you require a meltable cheddar style vegan cheese, they both sell grated and block style vegan cheeses and sometimes a greek style vegan cheese perfect for salads.

You will find Planet Menu vegan cheese in Aldi in the chilled aisle.

Vegan Cheese in ASDA

With a whopping 28 vegan cheese options available in ASDA, it is by far one of the best supermarkets that you can get vegan cheese from.

Just like Sainsburys, they are launching the new Laughing Cow cheese triangles which are vegan and newly launched as well as many of the bigger brands such as Violife, Cathedral City and are one of the few supermarkets still making their own vegan cheeses.
