This vegan cheese came as a large slice of a white softness that is coated in organic nettle flakes giving it that earthy, natural look almost herb like.

Aroma

This has quite a strong fermented aroma about it, it is a little pungent so if you love a good smelly cheese this is the one! It also has a delightfully creamy cheese smell to it, which we just love.

Flavour

This cheese has a variety of flavours, its tangy, pungent and has a lovely richness from the sauvignon blanc.

There is quite an acidic tone that balances with a soft milky flavour.

It's creamy and delicate yet bold in its tone.

Texture

The Goat-ee has a semi-soft texture, that as it warms in your mouth becomes much softer. The cheese is easy to spread on top of a cracker, toast or into a sandwich.

The texture not only spreads but does have a slight crumble to it. This cheese works wonderfully baked and grilled so if you're looking for that vegan cheese to replace baked goat's cheese on salad, this will really do the trick and really brings out the flavour when this cheese is warmed.

The cheese needs to be kept refrigerated and below 5 degrees. Consume within 5 days of opening.

Environmental Credentials

Strictly Roots say that they aim to be as eco friendly and sustainable as possible and are constantly striving to reduce waste and eliminate plastic in production and packaging. Tubs used are veg ware and the cheese is wrapped in a biodegradable film that is made from plants.

Ingredients are also organic where possible.
