Ingredients: Pumpkin* (70%), water, salt, ferments, nutritional yeast*, coconut oil*, psylium*, tapioca starch*, paprika*, garlic*, agave*, thickener (carrageenan). May contain traces of almonds, nuts and lupins.

Thats right, this vegan cheese is made from pumpkins, how amazing is that.

Appearance

Comes in a vibrant and beautifully branded jar, that get's you ready for the bold orange colour to this Pumpkin Chxddar.

Aroma

Hints of pumpkin, garlic and fermentation, a beautiful cheesy aroma about it.

Flavour

There are a number of tasty elements to this vegan cheese. You get those tangy almost cheddar like flavours as well hints of garlic and paprika.

That mixes well with the wholesome flavour of pumpkin that really isn't overpowering as it's quite a subtle flavouring vegetable that makes for easily becoming a savoury or sweet dish.

This is more so a savoury cheese given it's tone, yet there is a slight sweetness whether this is due to the pumpkin or even a little of the paprika.

This cheese was enjoyed straight out of the fridge, given it's temperate coolness added to the dynamic of flavours. 

Texture

The texture of the cheese is soft, moist and almost pudding like in it's consistency.

It's spreads with a rather thick texture and has that slight shiny surface to it. It's a rather dreamy, orange pumpkin cheddar style cheese.

You can also melt this cheese down taking a few minutes in the microwave and then use it as a delicious cheesy nacho dip sauce.

Longevity

This has a best before of 2 months which means it can last quite a while in your fridge. Once opened up though it is best to use within a few days.

Environmental Credentials

Comes in a sealed glass jar which is re-useable. It's made using organic and natural fermentation processes. 

Summary

This is a soft cheesy cheese made from 70% pumpkins and gives you a delicious dynamic flavour whether eaten cold or melted in the microwave to make a nacho dip.
